Martian Manhunter – Joseph Samachson & Joe Certa

A Martian undercover on Earth, working as a cop, with more powers than Superman and smarter than Batman? Exists! (at least in DC comics).  His name is J’onn J’onzz, although on Earth he has had different aliases.

He is the last of the inhabitants of Mars, though he prefers to call our neighbouring planet by its original name of Ma’alefa’ak.

And although he hails from a red planet, he is green and bald. In fact, one of his powers is that he can transform himself into whoever he wants, as well as flying, super strength, telepathic abilities, teleportation, intangibility, and «Martian» vision. In other words, an all-rounder, a Martian Superman and one of the founders of the Justice League.

Despite his powers, he’s a good guy, and helps the earthlings from the shadows, without much fanfare, trying to go as unnoticed as possible. He needs to improve his uniform, though, because it looks more like something out of a gladiator movie.
